On June 3, 2017, a woman and a child were hit by a car that pinned them against a wall of a restaurant in Bridgeport, Connecticut. The incident was caught on a CCTV camera. Shanta Jordan is scheduled to be honored at City Hall for allegedly diving in front the car to shield the child who's not even hers.
What I see is a woman trying to get the hell out of imminent danger but ultimately failing. If you can't have real heroes, you got to make them up, I guess. Both the woman and the child survived being rammed. The driver was arrested and charged with reckless driving.
