@therealtaemoney - TA3$ (pronounced tae money) a 27 Year old unsigned, independent artist native of Danville, Virginia. Began writing his own material between the ages of 12-13. By 2003 he teamed up with highschool friends to record and release their debut group album titled, 3rd Degree "No Pressure." A decade later, TA3$ would begin his solo grind as he marked his first performance at the Coast 2 Coast: Industry Mixer in Charlotte, NC on May 8th, 2012. Later, in the Fall of that same year, he would go on to release his debut solo album, "Global Warning" on November, 24th. A major milestone in his career, following the release he has been featured in Makin' It Magazine twice as a rising star. A year later he continued to introduce new fans to his brand, performing at the A&R Showcase at Lotus Lounge in Greensboro, NC Oct. 27th, 2013. His single "Goin' Dumb" was also filmed that night and released as his first official video from the albun. He returned in 2014 with the lead single "Purple" which had the entire music industry copying style & "goin up"!! (Artists from ilovemacaroni to Jeremih & even Breezy have all used the phrase in their newer material). The video was filmed later in 2015 and was never released due to complications with the video director cutting/deleting scenes and stealing ideas. After spending $600+ dollars on the videoshoot the director sent the video back with no effects, stopped replying to phone calls/texts & also blocked Tae money on social sites. All being a plot from the director & another local rapper who begged the director to cut scenes from the video, so that it would not look better than any video he has ever released. Done intentionally, the final edit lacked color correction and no effects (no flashes, flares, zoom ins or layering!) It needs color correction specifically (color correction is what makes the footage look cinematic). The only question is why was so much effort put in to stop this single from achieving? It is obvious of Tae Money's influence on hip-hop today yet this underground phenomenon has yet to receive the recognition. 2016 he plans to drop the long awaited mixtape LMBD: Let Me Borrow Dat!
