She went to his house on Thursday with 21-year-olds Curtis Fortenberry and Terrance Crumley because she knew he wouldn't be home and that he had drugs and money there. Police said Hidic made up a story about someone named "Ghost" owing them money. Her accomplices ransacked the house while she pretended to be their hostage. Although the homeowner wasn't home at the time, several other people were. And when one of them confronted Fortenberry about the robbery there was an exchange of gunfire. Fortenberry was shot in both legs and Hidic was shot in the head. Everyone fled the scene and Hidic's body was left behind. Police have since questioned several witnesses to the shooting. Also Crumley turned himself in on Saturday and Fortenberry, who was already in custody on unrelated charges, admitted his involvement in the crime.
