Iconic Painting 'The Scream' On Sale For $80 Million Dollars At New York Auction!

It's one of the most iconic images in art history and popular culture and now 'The Scream' is up for sale - to anyone with a spare 80 million U.S. dollars. Norwegian artist Edvard Munch painted four versions of the famous image in the 1890s. Three are in a museum, the other has been in Norway's Olsen family for 70 years, until now. The father of current owner Petter Olsen was a friend and patron of Munch and the proceeds from the sale will be used to create a new gallery in Norway dedicated to the artist.
