Police Officer Shot THREE Times During Routine Traffic Stop! (Cop Returns Fire Aimlessly Into Traffic)

A Lee County judge has allowed the release of a video of the shooting of a Cape Coral police officer in April. Yousel Lopez Rivera, 21, has been charged with attempted first-degree murder of an officer in the shooting of Officer David Wagoner. Wagoner was shot three times after pulling a vehicle over for an expired tag on Santa Barbara Boulevard, just north of Pine Island Road. One bullet ripped through his abdomen while two more were stopped by his bulletproof vest. After the shooting, Rivera is accused of jumping on top of the driver, his girlfriend, and speeding away before crashing the vehicle into a house on Santa Barbara Boulevard. He ran from the scene, police said, and was found hiding naked in a trash can after an extensive search.
