Disturbance at Dundas Street and Maitland Street

Two males are in custody as a result of a fight at Dundas Street and Maitland Street. On Thursday, September 22, 2011, at approximately 11:55 a.m. police responded to a disturbance in the area of Dundas Street and Maitland Street. When police arrived on scene, there was a large crowd and a fight in progress. Police used a Conducted Energy Weapon (also known as a Taser) to gain control of one of the males involved in the altercation. This male is in custody and currently at the hospital for assessment of injuries sustained in the fight. Police also have a second male in custody at Police Headquarters.
