Deputy Gets Fired After Severely Beating Handcuffed Inmate In The Legs With Baton! (Victim Suffers Broken Leg + Needed Stitches)

State and federal authorities are investigating the beating of a handcuffed South Carolina inmate by a deputy accused of striking the victim dozens of times with a baton. The South Carolina Law Enforcement Division said Monday state police and the FBI were investigating possible civil rights violations. Kershaw County Sheriff Steve McCaskill said in a statement the deputy was fired. The victim suffered a broken leg and needed stitches.
