Woman Dies After Getting Silicone Injections In Her Booty! Police Looking For Sisters Who Performed The Illegal Operation!

LOS ANGELES -- Authorities are searching for two sisters accused of running an illegal cosmetic filler business in Sylmar that led to the death of a patient. 22-year-old Mayra Lissette Contreras, of Pacioma, died Friday after receiving silicone injections in her buttocks, police say. Autopsy results were pending, however, initial reports indicated Contreras died from respiratory distress, according to the coroner's office. The Viveros sisters were taken into custody June 21 for allegedly practicing medicine without a license. They were held on $20,000 bail before being released. The sisters, Guadalupe Viveros, 53, and Alejandra Viveros, 50, are believed to have fled to Mexico. Police began investigating the sisters after alleged victims told authorities they'd become ill after being injected with the fillers, usually in the face or buttocks. In some cases, the fillers hardened into solid plastic, causing the patients to develop infections, police said. Detectives say Guadalupe Viveros claimed to be a physician in Mexico, but is not allowed to practice medicine in the United States. LAPD officials believe the sisters had a long list of clientele in the Sylmar area.
